Teen Parents

Babies do not come with instructions and parenting is hard! All parents need support when they have children, and teen parents need specialized resources. Teen parents face unique challenges and need additional support and resources. The voice of teen parents is critical so that the resources and supports that are needed can be identified. Youth.gov, American Pregnancy Association, and Healthy Children all offer critical resources and guidance for young parents. These sites are heavy in resources for teen moms but they do have some resources for teen dads. The National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse has resources that are specifically for teen fathers. As we investigated earlier, fathers are critically important for their children and the kids in their lives.
