provides information, support, and education for families who have children and young adults.
Family Matters,
through the joint efforts of Michigan’s Departments of Human Services and Education, have combined efforts to bring additional resources and access to support for families. They have published fact
sheets
for quick reference. One unique support that special needs parents need so very much but hardly receive is
respite care.
Children Trust Michigan is working diligently to elevate the voices of special needs parents to help direct the resources, needs, and supports that Michigan families need.
